The ABE Persistence Award is designed to recognize the perseverance of ABE students who are registered in the Adult Basic Education program at Great Plains College. Students must be enrolled full-time in the Grade 12, Upgrading or CAEC (formally GED), programs at our Warman Campus North location and demonstrate their dedication to pursuing post-secondary education.
A total of four (4) awards will be presented during the 2026-27 year for students enrolled full-time in the Adult 10, CAEC (formally GED), Grade 12 or Upgrading programs. Awards will be distributed as follows at each campus/program center locations.
Warman Campus North:
- One (1) $750 award for Essential Skills - Introduction to Continuing Care Assistant
- One (1) $1,500 award
- One (1) $750 award for ABE credit programs
- One (1) $750 award for Essential Skills - Early Childhood Education

- The application is available July 1st - November 20th each academic year.
