Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions? We've got answers!

Choosing your next step is exciting, but it can also come with a lot of questions. Whether you're wondering how to apply or what kind of financial supports are available, we're here to help. Below you'll find answers to some of the most common questions from future students like you.

If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out — we'd love to hear from you!

Complete our online application form, pay the $75 application fee and submit a copy of your most recent transcripts for your application to be considered.

If you're unable to complete an online application form, please contact the campus nearest you and an adviser will work with you to complete an application.

For most programs, applications are accepted year-round on a first come-first served basis. Apply early to secure your seat and ensure scholarship eligibility.

The Practical Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs both have application deadlines. Please visit the linked program pages to view the deadline for the location you'd like to attend.

Once your full application is received, including the application fee and the most recent copy of your transcripts, a student adviser will contact you shortly to confirm that we have received your application, and next steps, which may include a conditional acceptance letter.

Our staff and instructors strive to respond to and accommodate students’ needs both in the classroom and at the administrative level. Our dedicated team of advisers is available to help students sort through challenges such as attendance, academic performance, sponsoring agency support, financial aid, referrals to outside agencies, and special needs programming. For more information on specific supports available, reach out to a student adviser today.

GPC is proud to offer a number of Entrance Scholarship and External Award and Bursary opportunities to students.

Our Entrance Scholarship program provides scholarships from $500-$5,000 for students who apply to a full-time student loan-eligible program before the scholarship deadline. You're automatically considered for these and will be notified of your amount in your acceptance letter. Visit our Scholarships page to learn more.

We also offer a number of other external awards and bursaries with varying application processes and deadlines. Visit our Awards and Bursaries page for full details.

Unfortunately we do not have a student residence at any of our campus locations, however once you've been accepted to a program, your student adviser can recommend reputable accommodation resources within the community.
