Southwest Truth and Reconciliation Committee, in partnership with the Sixties Scoop Indigenous Society of Alberta, will host this powerful exhibit that explores the experiences of Survivors of the Sixties Scoop. Indigenous children were taken from their families - often by force. They were fostered and/or adopted into non-Indigenous homes, away from their communities, and placed across the globe.
The exhibit will be open from 9:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and interactive presentations will take place at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
This event is free to attend and open to students, staff and the public.
