Forklift Operator - 16 hours

Course Description

This course covers the classroom portion and practical evaluation required for workplace Powered Mobile Equipment (PME) training.

Customized training is available for equipment such as forklifts, genie lifts, scissor lifts, zoom booms, bobcats, skid steers, tele-handlers, and other Powered Mobile Equipment. Custom clients may be required to provide their own equipment.

Requirements

  • Bring your own PPE:
    • Hard hat 
    • Steel-toed boots
    • Fire-resistant coveralls 
    • Work gloves
    • Protective eyewear
    • Hearing protection 

Certification

Successful students receive a temporary Trainee Certificate and a form from their supervisor to verify the required supervised operating hours. The official permit is issued once the completed form is returned by the employer.
