Refrigeration Plant Operator - 30 hours
Course Description
This 30-hour course prepares students for the Provincial Examination to obtain a Refrigeration Plant Operator Certificate, which, along with a license, allows the holder to operate a refrigeration plant with a capacity of not more than 100 tonnes.
The course covers the basic principles of mechanics, refrigeration and refrigerants, electricity, air compression, pumps, building safety, and the operation and maintenance of refrigeration and cooling systems.
Classes are delivered online with an instructor and include lectures, videos, quizzes, assignments, discussions and study strategies. The provincial Exam is not included and must be booked separately.

Certification
The course prepares students for the Provincial Refrigeration Plant Operator Examination. The exam is not included.
