Telehandler Operator - 16 hours
Course Description
This course provides classroom and practical training for workers operating powered mobile equipment (PME) in the workplace. Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety Regulations require 16 hours of combined classroom and practical training for persons using PME.
This course covers the classroom portion and some practical evaluation. Successful students receive a temporary Trainee Certificate and a supervisor form to verify supervised operating hours before an official permit is required.
Customized training is available for a variety of PME, with businesses able to provide their own equipment for training.

Requirements
Participants must provide their own PPE:
- Hard hat
- Steel-toed boots
- Fire-resistant coveralls
- Work gloves
- Protective eyewear
- Hearing protection
Certification
Successful students receive a temporary Trainee Certificate and supervisor verification form. An official permit is issued once the required supervised operating hours are completed and the form is returned by the employer.
