Foundations of Care II: Professional Nursing

This course introduces the concept of primary health care, and continues the focus on health and the health care system as the basis for understanding the profession of nursing. Learners will have the opportunity to develop nursing skills necessary to practice in an interprofessional direct care environment. This is a first year course offered through the Saskatchewan Collaborate Bachelor of Science in Nursing. All four years of the program are available at the Great Plains College Swift Current Campus.
