Course Description
This comprehensive 2-day course provides First Aid and CPR training for those who need certification for work requirements or want the knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
The course is recommended for those who have never received Standard First Aid/CPR Certification or whose more recent Standard First Aid/CPR certification has expired.

Standard First Aid/CPR Level C

- Airway, breathing and circulation emergencies
- Respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Wound care
- Head, neck and spinal injuries
- Bone, muscle and joint injuries
- sudden medical and environmental emergencies
- Poisons, including opioid poisoning
- CPR and AED for adults, children and infants
Requirements
- Students must be capable of performing all physical skills required for certification
- Please inform Great Plains College if certification is required for work in British Columbia

The Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification is valid for 3 years
