Oilfield Driver Awareness
Course Description
Certified through Energy Safety Canada, this course is designed for professional drivers and workers who drive in oilfield environments. It focuses on improving safe driving behaviours and attitudes and developing understanding of what it means to be a professional driver.
This course replaces GODI and LDV and is the ongoing prerequisite for Escort Vehicle and Oilfield Hauler training.
The course is approved by Alberta Transportation as a Professional Driving Improvement Course (PDIC). Alberta Operator's License holders who achieve 80% or higher on the written exam may be eligible for a reduction of up to three demerit points through an Alberta registries agent.

Certification
