Early Childhood Education Instructor - Level 2

Kindersley Campus

Great Plains College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor(s) for our Early Childhood Education program at the Kindersley Campus. The instructor will plan, organize and implement an instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their academic potential.

Start date: January 6, 2026
End date: June 30, 2026 

Student Contact Days: 19.5
Total Contract Days: 22.25

Course(s):
(ECE100) Intro to Early Childhood Education, (ECE181) Observation & Documentation 1, (ECE107) Effective Relationships in Early Childhood Environments, (HUMD102) Growth & Development of Young Children
 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education

The ECE Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
− Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies,
Bachelor’s in Child Development).
− Two years’ recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher/ECE Instructor.
− Effective interpersonal skills.
− Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
− Effective instructional ability.
− Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
− Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
− Demonstrates Valuing Diversity.
