Live, Instructor-led Online, Distance Education

Students will attend live, web-based classes which allows for live interaction with the instructor and other students. Students will get to know the instructor and their fellow classmates just like a regular face-to-face course.

Classes will include lectures, videos, quizzes, assignments, and other real-time presentations that are designed to best prepare students to write the provincial exam at a date, time and location that is suitable to each individual.

Great Plains College will provide students with free access to the online platform in which to participate in live sessions and access course assignments, practice exams, chapter quizzes, etc.

Our instructor is dedicated to the success of our students. Extra help, additional review sessions, and support to students provided outside of regular course hours are often made available to students and are scheduled at discretion and availability of the instructor.

Group Participation

Multiple students from one organization may participate in the same course “as a group” with the following caveats:

  1. The group’s camera must capture all students at all times during course hours.  The instructor must be able to easily identify each individual.
  2. Each student will require their own computer and log-in information to complete the daily quizzes, assignments, mock exams, etc. (as these are provided online and are graded in real-time and must be completed individually).
  3. Each student will require their own computer and log-in information to access review and study materials when studying outside of course hours.
  4. Should any of the above guidelines not be followed, at the instructor’s discretion, students will be required to participate in remaining course hours on individual devices.
