The course content covers areas such as Label Information, Personal Hazards, Protective Clothing and Equipment, Environmental Hazards, Safe Use and Handling, Emergency Procedures, and Federal and Provincial Legislation.

Industrial Vegetation
Industrial Vegetation Commercial Pesticide Applicator
This course is the first step in obtaining one's license to purchase the pesticides and control weeds in industrial areas such as roadsides, power lines, right of ways, well sites, parking lots road beds and equipment yards, including the control of designated noxious weeds on all lands.
Take this course face-to-face to complete it quickly with the benefit of an experienced commercial pesticide instructor.
Landscape Pesticide Applicator
This course will teach students the control of pests to maintain ornamental plants and turf on outdoor residential, commercial and public lands; which also includes the use of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and vertebrate-control products in nurseries for propagation of landscape and garden plants.
Roof Trusses
You will learn how to lay out, assemble, erect and brace engineered roof trusses.
Scaffolds and Rigging
You will receive the theory and hands on experience needed for the safe use of ladders, ramps and runways used in construction. The course content includes erecting, maintaining and dismantling various types of access scaffolds and rigging and hoisting equipment.
Floor Framing
You will learn to assemble various types of floor systems as well as procedures for installing floor sheathing. You will also learn basic principles required for deck construction.
Tools
You will learn how to select and properly use a wide variety of hand tools, portable power tools and stationary tools and equipment. You will also learn how to identify and use powder actuated tools.
