This course is suitable for supervisors and those who will not be required to enter Confined Spaces but are still required to have the knowledge surrounding safe work practices and legislation for working in Confined Space environments. Tools and Fasteners
You will learn how to use hand and power tools common to the electrician trade. You will learn how to safely operate and maintain powder actuated tools. You will learn about common fasteners used for wood, metal, masonry, and other materials.
Mathematics of Basic Electrical Principles
You will use arithmetic and algebra to solve practical problems related to the electrician trade. You will convert units of measurement within and between the Imperial and metric systems, including relating metric prefixes to scientific and engineering rotation. You will also use algebra to both solve and transform electrical equations.
