Fire Extinguisher Training

Fires in the home or at a place of business can be devastating and sometimes fatal. Understanding fire prevention, good storage practices and housekeeping are keys to preventing fires. Effective training and the proper equipment for your environment are prudent to protecting lives and property.

IMPORTANT:  This course demonstrates the proper techniques to extinguish live fires under direct supervision of a qualified instructor.

Our course objectives are to assist you to understand: 

Calculus I

An introductory class in the theory and techniques of differentiation and integration of algebraic and trigonometric functions. Topics include limits, optimization, curve sketching, and areas.

Precalculus Mathematics

A course in problem solving through the use of mathematical models involving algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their graphs. The purpose of this course is to enhance students’ abilities to express, visualize, and model real-world problems through an understanding of common functions and their graphs.

Pesticide Applicator

These courses provide knowledge of safe and effective pesticide application and pest control as required under the Pest Control Products (Saskatchewan) Act.  The course content covers areas such as Label Information, Personal Hazards, Protective Clothing and Equipment, Environmental Hazards, Safe Use and Handling, Emergency Procedures, and Federal and Provincial Legislation.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Learn the skills to help save a life.

LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, participants don't need any formal training to attend the workshop—anyone 16 or older can learn and use the ASIST model.
