Transportation of Dangerous Goods
This half-day course has been updated to meet the intent of the Clear Language Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations. It is intended for individuals who are involved in the transportation and handling of dangerous goods associated with oil and gas industry operations. It is ideal for updating personnel with previous Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training or as an introductory session for new employees.
Fireman's-Level Boiler Operator Exam Preparation
This 40-hour course is designed to assist students in preparing for the Provincial Examination to obtain their Fireman’s Level Boiler Operator certification. This course will cover the basic principles of design, operation and maintenance of heating boilers and related equipment used in facilities of moderate to large size. The Provincial Exam is not included in this course which allows students to book their exam at a location and date suitable to each individual.
5th Class Power Engineering Provincial Exam Preparation
This 78-hour course is designed to assist students in preparing for the 5th Class Power Engineering Provincial Examination.
As a student of this course, you will have already fulfilled the requirements necessary to obtain your 5th Class Power Engineering certification, including steam time. You will be a student who just needs assistance preparing for the test. The Provincial Exam is not included in this course which allows students to book their exam at a location and date suitable to each individual.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS)
This half day course covers the basics of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), providing workers with general knowledge and skills to work safely around hazardous materials. It covers worker education, workplace labelling and material safety data sheets (MSDS). A certificate is issued to each candidate upon successful completion of a written examination.

Canadian OHS Law
This course will provide students with an excellent Introduction to Canadian Health & Safety Law. Students will learn the essential elements of the Canadian legal system, it application to OHS law, and the setting, communication and enforcement of OHS legal standards. Case studies, practical application of the law, and understanding how the law relates to OHS management systems will all be important themes throughout all the course modules. A review of the Bill C-45 amendments to the Criminal code will also be covered.
